Yan 77
"I grew up in London during the 80’s and was into drawing, writing short stories and watching Saturday cartoons on TV like most kids. These were a mixture of American like Hanna Barbera, English and some Japanese cartoons. My father also introduced me to comic books like Asterix, Tintin and later Spirou and Fantasio which were all by Belgian publishers with some written in French which I couldn’t read. However the movement, action and meaning of the drawings was a huge influence on me artistically and in how I saw and interacted with people in the real world."
